Mark Weissman, MD. - Chairman
Pilot, Visionary Entrepreneur, Board Certified, Emergency Physician.
Dr. Weissman first joined Weatherly as an investor, then was elected to the Board of Directors. He later became Weatherly’s primary shareholder and Chairman after rescuing the company from a hostile takeover bid. He has served as its Chairman since 2008.
Practicing Physician
He has been a practicing physician (still practicing) for over twenty-five years and served as Medical Director for Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Visionary
He cofounded Midwest Emergency Associates, (MEA) and Home Physicians, both eventually sold to private equity concerns. He was an early-stage investor in Haivision (a market leader in enterprise video and streaming solutions), as well as NewDea (a large-scale data platform).
